She's just expressionless but that doesn't mean she's brave... Her environment shaped her character to be like this... But H doesn't know... because she never told him before...
Many girls hate insects, especially cockroaches and lizards and the list goes on and on... And when these insects appear, a typical girl will either: 1. SCREAM 2. RUN AWAY 3. HIDE BEHIND THEIR BFs BACKS FOR COVER But T is an exception. She doesn't react in either of the mention above, she will just treat those insects like passers-by and walk away, perhaps she will chase after the cockroaches with insecticides too. Does this means that T is brave? No... she's not. In fact, she is also afraid of these but her way of expressing her fear is different from typical girls.
Since young, both parents of T have been working full-time, leaving T alone at home. Even though T has an elder sister, she was also hardly at home with T. So whenever T was alone at home and should she happen to meet those insects, she has to 'battle' the situation herself. As a result, T has been 'trained' to handle these detestable insects while growing up as a child. Maybe that's the reason why her reaction towards these insects isn't that dramatic as any typical girls?
Once, H asked T a qns... "Are you afraid of cockroaches? You know when P walked through this alley with me just know and saw alot of baby cockroaches, she SCREAMED and grabbed hold of my hand so tightly..." T knew that any guy would most hopefully that a girl or his GF be timid in some ways or another so as to be able to be a MAN of her life. But T didn't want to lie... she hates liar and lying... so she replied " hmm... im not afraid of them till that i will scream and would most probably will kill them with insecticide ba."
T guessed H prefers P more... so they didn't get together... but this may be as well, T maybe doesn't know how to love H too. H is too hyperactive, he's outgoing and a sunshine person... T is more introvert and a homely girl... most importantly, both H and P have a common hobby...
T was tired trying to be more outspoken... H was a most important person of her life because he made her try to express her feelings more than she ever did in front of the person she likes. But H will never know... he doesn't know how much he meant to T...
The purpose of this story... I dunno eh... just wanna post coz i quite curious whether a girl's dramatic reaction towards insects is seemed to be annoying to guys or they find it cute coz like what the story says "...make a guy feels like the MAN of her life?" And if a girl is not afraid of insect... will guys find her so weird? or strange?
