9am: office Wee...happy HAPPY coz today halfday of work only!!! Actually, some of my colleagues took the morn off so as to start their holiday earlier. Well, i still went to work and started my makan session. I LOVE the sandwiches sold at my workplace cafe and food court especially the tuna mayo, mayo egg and mango chicken! The generous serving of fillings makes it worthwhile to eat them! :) I lament the teriyaki chicken doesn't taste as nice as the one selling at Ngee Ann City B2 level (St Leaven). O'Briens sandwiches also not bad but i still chose to buy tuna mayo sandwich for my breakfast from the cafe. :) Work work work... kinda sian but everyone started walking around from tables to tables to be Mr and Miss Santa Claus. Hee...received quite alot of chocolates... LOVE THEM!!! I couldn't wait till i reach home so i opened the packaging and started savouring them with my colleagues. :) I remembered my fren once said, "It's better to eat with frens or families as the feeling is GREAT." *nod nod* I agree! Some of the chocolates that entered my tummy ytd and today: Cadbury mint, Merci (dark mousse, coffee and cream, dark cream, marzipan), Toblerone mini, Fudge with Rum from Candy Empire, Seashell shaped Belgian chocolate... OMG! That's ALOT! *faint* but well, i guess no one can resists such wonderful indulgence right right?!
1pm: Ghim Moh mkt place Went there alone to have lunch coz my colleagues all intend to go back home to have their meals instead. It's ok, i enjoy eating alone sometimes. :) I only ordered this prawn HK style chee cheong fun. Hmm...the sauce is not too salty but the chee cheong fun like abit chewy? As in, i tot HK style chee cheong fun should be smooth and light de? (tat's wat my fren told me) I guess the vendor added too much glutinous flour into the rice paste used for making the rolls. I tried b4 similar HK style chee cheong fun at: 1. Killiney's The House of Rice Rolls and Porriage --> there's ALOT more flavours to choose from like durian, green tea etc. The rolls sold here is smoother than the GM one and the sauce is about the same but more salty. 2. WM L2 Chinese Cuisine restaurant --> this one taste almost similar to the GM one but the sauce is much thicker. 3. Buona Vista mkt place (HK handmade pau stall)--> the rolls' texture also smoother than the GM one but with slightly salty sauce. (Here got sell cheese chicken pau but i haven't tried b4) Their self made Lor Mai Kai not bad but the amount of meat given is very miserable. LOL. ...So overall, the servings of chee cheong fun given at GM mkt place is much much more value for $$.
2pm: Prima Deli Went there to shop for their mini chiffon. I bought the cheese flavour and another box of mini chocolate muffins to share with my cousins at night. I tried their chocolate chips Bahulu some other day, it was NICE!
9pm: home Just wana update on the Prima Deli foods that I shared with my cousins in the evening... the cheese filling inside the chiffon is so so little :( but the chiffon is BERI light and FLUFFY. :) As for the muffin...is kinda dry...so i didn't really like it.
